Is it relevant then, that although ”Alexander the Great had a brain wave”, that he was epileptic and should probably have not been anywhere near razors. Of course, having a smooth shave, smooth as a baby’s bottom might help when you are bisexual, which Alexander was.

However - shaving is a pain. Fact: it makes you look a little younger. Fact: it doesn’t really matter.

Yes, there is a need for men to shave. Tolstoy type beard is unhealthy and gives the impression that the man sporting it looks like a charlatan.

BUT THEN WHY SHOULD ONLY MEN SHAVE?

Women should too, and here is the BIG REASON :D

Totally agree...

men should shave about as much as they’d want their women to...

there are places where hair just doesn’t make any sense... like armpits... lollzzz...

stubble is nice and a flowing beard looks good only on a tall, beefy Sikh sporting an all white ensemble with a sword and a blue turban!!!

thats yummy, anything else is just unhygienic!!!

Yes Brett women should also shave, shouldn’t they? But I never expected you to link a page that suggests women shave their facial hair! I was thinking of something else. Sometimes mutual shaving between partners can be fun. Tried that ever?

Beards and moustaches are the breeding grounds of harmful micro-organisms. They are also homes to microscopic insects. If not maintained properly they can be very dirty. Also, moustaches are the single largest source of loss of beer in Britain (and I guess elsewhere too). LoL

I presume you are a female and though a few men would like to have women with hair on their limbs etc, would you like to be with a man who has never ever shaved or removed hair from his body in any form? Then you talk about interfering with nature. I don’t think you are naturist.

We can’t possibly have a world where we appear as more evolved gorillas though the thought of it is fun.

All u guys up here who took the pain to go thru the article and give your valuable comments—Thanx a lot to them.

It was interesting, sometimes irritating and sometimes indeed hilarious.

Well the point here was a little different—the question was not who does shaving or why?

The point was what initiated shaving and what had been its fall-out.

None of u commented on that aspect.

We can never in any case go back to our primitive era for the simple reason that its not possible becoz our 2.5 gram brain has become too active and to rewind it is virtually impossible.

Mine was just an innocent perspective but as usual we all went into the direction which always remains very intriguing to us...even though it was discovered long back.Readers must have got by now what exactly I am pointing towards.

My thanx to every one of u for the patience and hope to get the same response from all of u.
